LINC is preparing to respond to a number of upcoming procurements and is looking to identify several consultants to provide business development surge support to complement our full-time team. All work is expected to be performed remotely and no travel is required. These roles include:
- Proposal Manager: Working under the direction of the opportunity lead or the business development director, the proposal manager will support the production and submission of high-quality, compelling, and compliant LINC proposals. Tasks may include developing proposal calendars and compliance matrices, liaising with partners and other BD consultants, ensuring proposal efforts adhere to the calendar, supporting color team reviews, formatting sections of proposals, and packaging the technical and cost volumes.
- Recruiter: Working under the direction of the business development director or opportunity lead, the recruiter will utilize their skills and networks to identify high-quality and compliant candidates for potential inclusion on proposals, both expatriate, TCN, and host-country national.
- Pricer/Cost Preparer: Working under the direction of the opportunity lead, the pricer/cost preparer will be responsible for producing a clear and compliant cost volume, including preparing spreadsheets and budget notes (including all annexes or supporting materials), liaising with proposal partners (international and local) to collect required cost inputs, ensuring technical and cost alignment, and contributing to bidding strategy discussions regarding cost.
Skills and Qualifications
The requirements for these positions include a university degree in a relevant field and a minimum of five years of relevant business development experience, specifically in the role(s) for which candidates are applying. This experience will ideally be for USAID. Experience working for or with small businesses is a plus. Candidates may apply for more than one role by noting this in their submission/application.
