In Zambia, LINC worked in partnership with Johns Hopkins University to conduct a study of cross-border health-seeking behavior. The purpose of this study was to assist the Ministry of Health to pinpoint geographic areas where cross-border population in-flows and out-flows influence health service delivery and commodity consumption. This information was anticipated to improve budgeting and planning for affected border districts and facilities.
