In Rwanda, LINC brought parents, teachers, school leaders, government officials, and other education stakeholders together in five participatory influence-mapping workshops to examine the factors affecting early-grade learning. By building a shared picture of how the education system worked, participants could see where problems reinforced one another and where changes might have the greatest effect. The process also helped local partners learn how to use this kind of mapping in future planning and program design. Read more.
