Sarah Polen, Director of Business Development, is an accomplished international development practitioner with more than 20 years of experience winning and leading successful projects for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC), the Department of State, and the World Bank.
Her skills include strategic planning, proposal management, program design and writing, and overall business development. Prior to joining LINC, Sarah worked for US-based development and research organizations, including the International Rescue Committee, Creative Associates International, and the Urban Institute. There she supported overall business development and led strategic pursuits for opportunities funded by various Government agencies, including USAID, the U.S. State Department, the U.K. Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, and the European Union.
Sarah has an MBA and Master in International Affairs from Columbia University and a BA from the University of Chicago.
