About the Evaluation
Final Performance Evaluation
The Project: LINC conducted the final performance evaluation of the Local Partner Development (LPD) Activity in Jamaica.
The LPD activity focused on building the capacity of Jamaican institutions, civil society organizations, and key public and private partners to become more effective in advancing collaborative, evidence-based youth crime and violence prevention strategies that mobilize and sustain targeted secondary and tertiary prevention efforts.
Timeframe: September 2022 – March 2023
Purpose: The purpose of the performance evaluation was threefold:
- To determine the extent to which LPD activity’s strategic approach improved the resilience of targeted youth, their families, and communities to crime and violence;
- To assess the degree to which targeted local organizations are able to implement evidence-based programming to improve activity outcomes, and;
3. To examine the extent to which private sector engagement may improve the sustainability of youth crime and violence prevention interventions.
The evaluation was conducted between September 2022 and March 2023 in partnership with The Cloudburst Group.
