Local Organization Market Research

About the Project

LINC conducted the “Local Organization Market Research” activity for USAID/KEA’s Office of Economic Growth and Integration (OEGI). The activity took place throughout 2021, assessing hundreds of local organizations working in the KEA region.

The purpose of the research was to provide USAID with an understanding of the landscape of local organizations able to work directly with them. This included the identification and assessment of 200 organizations working in agriculture, nutrition, resilience, WASH, and energy. In addition, LINC provided recommendations to USAID on how to best engage local organizations, and more broadly, activate Kenya’s local organization ecosystem.
