About Our Consulting Services

LINC provides consulting services to local organizations on strategy, process improvement, partnerships, outreach and fundraising.

LINC has assisted scores of local organizations to improve their business process, including technical assistance, training and application of our PICKS facilitated self-assessment tool, enabling them to contract directly with USAID and other donors.

We have supported local organizations to formalize their organizational policies and procedures, establish performance management and evaluation systems, and build their technical and fundraising capacities.

Consulting Services in Action

  • In Paraguay, LINC is conducting an external evaluation of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)-funded project, Trade-Facilitating Agricultural Systems and Technology (T-FAST), which is implemented by the International Executive Service Corps (IESC). The independent evaluation consists of three phases: a baseline, which will be done in 2020; a mid-term evaluation to be conducted by the end of 2021, and a final evaluation to be done in 2023. For this project, LINC has partnered with Paraguayan think tank, Instituto Desarrollo.
  • In Kenya, LINC was engaged to support and sustain the growth of Adeso (Africa Development Solutions, formerly Horn Relief), a dynamic, mission-driven organization. Our engagement included the development of a strategic plan, outreach strategy, and comprehensive M&E framework. Adeso is now leading forward an international coalition of local NGOs to establish southern-led forum advocating for their own interests. Read more.
  • In Brazil, LINC supported the start-up of the Sowing Futures program, including conducting staff and partner training on participatory processes and community ownership of local development decision-making. Read more.
