LINC LLC APPOINTS PATRICK LOHMEYER AS CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Accomplished and experienced in both HQ and project operations, Mr. Lohmeyer will guide the company in its continued growth.

WASHINGTON DC – LINC LLC announced today that Patrick Lohmeyer has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, effective September 1, 2022.

The appointment of Mr. Lohmeyer, an accomplished international development practitioner with more than 20 years of experience successfully leading programs across five continents, marks a key milestone for LINC, as it approaches ten years since its founding.

“In this new position, Patrick will continue to oversee LINC’s programs and new business departments as he has been ably doing as Senior Program Director for the last several years,” said Patrick Sommerville, Managing Director and Co-Founder at LINC. “In his new role, he will take on new responsibilities for LINC’s corporate-level leadership and management.”

LINC is in a period of rapid growth. The company has recently been awarded important multi-year projects in Ghana, Ethiopia, and Mexico, has many other ongoing short- and long-term projects, and continues strengthening its business development efforts. Rich Fromer, Managing Director and Co-Founder at LINC said: “Our priorities going forward are multi-fold: ensuring quality project management and results, providing support to large overseas country operations, providing our staff with opportunities for advancement, and staying true to our mission of strengthening local actors and systems across all our programming. Patrick has the demonstrated track record of senior-level success across multiple USAID implementing partners to capably serve LINC in this new role.”

As a mission-driven US-based small business organized around a commitment to local stakeholders leading their own development, LINC’s team is representative of what we stand for. Mr. Fromer added, “Having held a range of project-based positions in countries like Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Albania, and having served as Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President in his previous workplaces, Patrick understands first-hand the importance of supporting locally-led development, while also driving organizational growth.”

LINC has a growing portfolio of global programming and holds a variety of USAID IDIQ mechanisms that leverage its leadership in traditional and innovative Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL) approaches; market systems, youth, economic growth, WASH; and other technical sectors. LINC does this by implementing programs and delivering consulting and training in the areas of MERL, capacity-strengthening, and collective action. The recipient of USAID’s Small Business of the Year award in 2017, LINC is also a team of reflective and passionate development professionals. Please visit www.linclocal.org to learn more.
