LINC was awarded the Positive Pathways Activity mid-term performance evaluation task order under the EVAL-ME II IDIQ by USAID/Jamaica.
Positive Pathways is an activity under the Caribbean Basin Security Initiative (CBSI) of the U.S. Department of State (DOS). Being implemented since 2020, Positive Pathways aims to build community and family resilience to reduce youth involvement in crime and violence. Through a community-driven approach, Positive Pathways strengthens the capacity of parents and communities to leverage economic and social resources to prevent youth violence, while also establishing pathway programs to support youth at risk of involvement in crime and violence.
The mid-term performance evaluation will seek to assess how Positive Pathways’ interventions for parents and families of youth beneficiaries have increased youth’s resilience to crime and violence; how the pathways programs have reduced the risk of crime and violence for the target youth participants; and the extent to which the engagement of the private sector has contributed to addressing the risk and resiliency levels of the targeted youth, their families, and their communities.
The Positive Pathways mid-term performance evaluation will be conducted by LINC and its partner The Cloudburst Group, between the months of November 2023 and March 2024.
